Methodology

Our analysis uses a reproducible, multi-stage scoring process aligned with the Government of Canada’s Key Industrial Capabilities (KICs). Companies are scored based on technology relevance across three tiers: Core Defence (5 points), Dual-Use Primary (3 points), and Support/Contextual (1 point). Every company underwent manual verification to confirm operational status and defence-relevant capabilities.
